This project is one of the projects I created for a course lectured at University for 2 semesters.
It is intended to teach others about various shader techniques and not as a fully polished showpiece.
About this project
This effect is probably the most recognized one from Tom Clancy's The Division: The echo. It serves as an addition to regular audio logs and gives the player a glimpse into what happened in an area. It combines a lot of different effects and is a great project for teaching. Apart from the tessellation on the characters, I used this project to show how to blur elements on screen and how to render points and lines.
